May 2018 Letter

Dear Partners and Friends,

Sometimes we just don’t realize how significant our lives really are. We go about our daily lives, we go to work, we come home, and we interact with people around us every day. And often we don’t even realize that people are watching us.

They notice how we respond to situations, both positive and negative circumstances. And so many people are hungry for words of life. They think that they are alone in their life. They think no one cares about them. They long for a relationship with a loving God, and sometimes they aren’t even aware of this need. Like the door-to-door sales person in this month’s newsletter, you too can touch the lives of those around you. You can, with the Lord’s help, share the Gospel with those around you.

It can be difficult to overcome our fears and speak to people, sometimes co-workers, sometimes complete strangers, about the Gospel. But we believe that Jesus wants to demonstrate His love for others, in tangible ways. So, as you interact with others look for needs in their life that Christ can meet. Look for ways that God the Father can shower His love upon them. And then, ask them if you can pray for that need. And finally, when you pray, expect God to provide the answer.

God can and will do much more than we can ask or even imagine. Thank you for continuing to pray for all of us here. And thank you for your sacrificial support every month. April 2018 Letter

Dear Partners and Friends,

The testimonies in this month’s newsletter give us a picture of how we partner with God to share the Gospel. We do the easy part – we tell. He does what I like to call the “heavy lifting” – He demonstrates the Gospel with His power.

Hearing the story about the young man healed during worship reminds me of one of the first times I saw a healing miracle. It was in 1995, and I was leading worship in a small group that met on Saturday nights. A woman visited that night, and as I began leading worship, she fell on the floor and began writhing and moaning. I had no idea what was going on, so I prayed and asked the Lord what to do. He spoke to my spirit and urged me to continue in worship, and to instruct everyone else to do the same.

So we ignored the woman on the floor and lifted our praise and worship up to heaven. After a while, she became calm, and we continued with the meeting. Almost a month later, I was attending a meeting at another church, and a woman came up and spoke to me. I didn’t recognize her, so she told me “I was the woman who came to your meeting last month. I had MPD (multiple personality disorder), but that night, during worship, I was completely healed!”

God can and will do much more than we can ask or even imagine. Thank you for continuing to pray for all of us here. And thank you for your sacrificial support every month. Please tell all your Christian friends about this website and encourage them to join us as partners. March 2018 Letter

Dear Partners and Friends,

This month’s stories are all about transformation, and the Power of the Gospel to bring change
in our lives. God will move into our lives wherever we allow and invite Him. He will bring positive change
to our lives.

Do you need change in your life? Do you need transformation? Nothing is too difficult for the
Lord. If you need a miracle, He is willing and able to do a miracle in your life. Where do you need His
touch, His transforming Power? In your health? In your job? In your finances? In relationships? As I said
last month, Jesus is the Answer to every problem, every concern.

Are you sick? He is the Answer. Are you prone to argue with your spouse or children? He is the
Answer. Are you facing financial burdens? He is the Answer. For every concern that faces us, He is the
Answer. These things might look like mountains in front of us, making the way impassable, but what does
He say? In Isaiah 43:16, it says

“Thus says the Lord, who makes a way through the sea and a path
through the mighty waters.”

If God can make a way through the sea, for Israel to cross over on dry land,
He can surely make a way through your difficulty.

Speak to the mountain of sickness, the mountain of discord, the mountain of financial burdens,
and, with God’s faith, cast them into the sea. Now thank Him for answering your prayer and wait
expectantly for whatever it is that you need.

Thank you for continuing to pray for all of us here, and thank you for
your sacrificial support every month.

Blessings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus,

February 2018 Letter

Dear Partners and Friends,

In this month’s newsletter we share some of the statistics of what God did through our ministry in 2017. But behind the statistics are the stories of every person, every family, and every community touched by the love of God. Thousands of people came into the Kingdom, received eternal life, physical healing, and provision for their material needs. The Gospel ministers to the whole person. The Greek word for salvation, “sozo” is more than just the promise of Heaven. It includes “to save, to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, to save from suffering, to heal, to make well from disease, to deliver from spiritual oppression, to provide financial prosperity.”

As you begin the New Year, are you concerned in any area of your life? Are there health concerns, family relationships that are struggling, financial pressures? God sent His Son Jesus to save us, to “sozo” us. He died on the cross to pay for our sins, and He rose from the grave to bring complete salvation into our lives. He has the answer to every problem. No, He IS the answer to every problem. Are you sick? He is the Answer. Are you prone to argue with your spouse or children? He is the Answer. Are you facing financial burdens? He is the Answer. For every concern that faces us, He is the Answer. These things might look like mountains in front of us, making the way impassable, but what does He say?

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus is encouraging His disciples to have faith. Many English translations quote Him as saying “Have faith IN God” but the Koine Greek literally reads “Have God’s faith.” Now I want to ask you, does God believe that He will do what He says He will do? Yes! If we allow Him to impart His faith to us, then the rest of the passage becomes easy. Mark 11:22-24 can now be read like this:

And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have God’s faith. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. (Mark 11:22-24 NASB)

Speak to the mountain of sickness, the mountain of discord, the mountain of financial burdens, and, with God’s faith, cast them into the sea. Now thank Him for answering your prayer and wait expectantly for whatever it is that you need.

Thank you for continuing to pray for all of us here, and thank you for your sacrificial support every month.
